Here’s what clients have to say about working with Craig:
My results with Craig were nothing short of amazing. This was at least my 15th day at the Glenn so my learning curve had started to flatten out. This all changed after our day together. I made a huge leap forward.
Craig’s precise, detailed and clearly articulated instructions made me smoother, faster and safer. I progressed more in one day with Craig then 5 days solo. It was amazing how much faster I was at the end of the day. Most importantly I had a blast! If you want to be a better driver and have the chance to work with Craig, jump on it.”

Craig’s coaching takes learning beyond that of regular driving school instructors, and gave me a substantial improvement in lap times, confidence and skill. In my first two days of working with Craig, I felt like I built two years’ worth of skills. He helped me develop a real feel for my car and understand the physics behind racing so I could shave seconds or even those final few tenths off my lap time. Craig’s coaching was valuable when I was a novice and through the years when I needed a refresher to get to the next level or when I changed cars. Craig is tops for figuring out and focusing on what I need to learn.”

I was introduced to Craig Horning in 2004. Craig had notable success in IMSA racing and was recognized as a very competitive race car driver. I contracted with Craig to provide me with higher level driving/racing skills and racing acumen. He was able to demonstrate techniques while I was sitting next to him in the passenger seat using my car. Then we took turns while I drove and Craig was a passenger. During these situations Craig was able to give me feedback in the car. At the end of every session he debriefed and critiqued my performance, often using supplemental visual aides. As a result of my experience with Craig’s coaching in 2004, my racing performance improved significantly with many more podium finishes.
Although I have competed in many races (over 120) since 2004, Craig’s coaching enabled me to understand the finer points of using the accelerator, brake and steering to transition the weight in the car, carrying more speed into and out of corners, and how to elongate the straights to reduce lap times. Furthermore, Craig was helpful in exposing race strategies; useful when trying to beat a faster car in your race. My journey in motorsports has exposed me to many others who have provided input and advice. There is nothing like seat time to learn new techniques. However I am pleased that Craig’s coaching was the real beginning of my understanding of race car dynamics.
In 2013 I won the Porsche Club of America Club Racing National Championship, F Class. As of this writing (February, 2016) I just came back from the Porsche Club Race in Sebring, FL. I achieved a Podium finish in the Sprint and Enduro points races. Thank you, Craig!”

When I called Craig, I was at a plateau. Craig took me back to basics with some great foundational instruction and within two days was coaching me on advanced car control & race strategy. I have since won a second and third place national championship in BMWCCA Club Racing and am currently enjoying great success with The American Endurance Racing series.”
~ Rich Schickler III, BMW Club Racer
Working with Craig as my coach, I learned so much about car control and its limits. He could tell if I was and the car was at its limit and what it was going to do before things happened. That is when I realized how gifted he is at this sport. He can tell you what changes should be done to the car to improve its handling just by knowing how it feels in the turns. He has instructed my son, who races, and many others I know who have given me positive feedback on how he has improved their and the car’s ability on the track. Working with Craig has made me a much more alert driver on the street also.”
